Depression self help. Many people who suffer from depression or other mental illnesses don’t seek out the help they need. Why? Well, much of society doesn’t support getting help.

You’re friends and family may tell you that you’re just going through a bad patch and you’ll be fine - so you ignore the symptoms and wait it out. You may feel ashamed or think you should be able to get better on your own.

I’ve been through ALL of these and I’m here to encourage you to get help. I’ve always believed in self-help and I’ll share with you the depression self-help tools I have. Sometimes our depression is caused from too much stress.

But sometimes we need help from outside ourselves, in the form of guidance, support and different kinds of healing. I’ve been at the bottom of that black hole and I know how much it hurts. I’ve had people in the past say to me “You’re just thinking negatively” so I tried to think differently, and feel differently and it took me a long time to seek outside help.
